Hi. BITS Pilani is a private college with campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai. BIT is a government funded college with its main campus in Ranchi. The BITSAT exam is only conducted for and by BITS Pilani. This exam is not valid for the BIT colleges.

BITS,Pilani and BIT,Mesra are two different colleges.To get admission into colleges like Bits Pilani,Bits Goa,Bits hyderabad you have to clear BITSAT.To get admission into Bit,Mesra you have clear jee mains.Bit,Mesra is funded by government and does not take admission on the basis of BITSAT marks.Hope you can find the difference now.
