Prashant, you haven't mentioned whether you have joined the seat allotted in Round 1 or 2 or Mop up round. Because if you have Free Exit and Upgrade options available for Round 1 and there is no penalty for the same. You can resign the seat within a stipulated time frame. But lets say if you want to resign from the seat after joining and the stipulated time to vacate the seat is over, your security deposit will not be refunded. You may have to forgo that. But that will not stop you from participating in State Counselling should you fulfill the eligibility criteria. And this also shall not stop you from appearing for NEET PG next year, again should you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
