96 percentile is the cutoff for IIM Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Trichy, Udaipur, Kashipur and some of the Newest IIMs for general category from last two years. So there is a good chance of a call from these institutes. If you score 96+ percentile chances of calls are there from old IIMs depending on your selection criterion. You need to appear for the WAT and PI process and excel there as well. It also depends on your academics and work experience and there are points for gender and academic diversity. CAT score is about 30-40% of your total score for the final selection and academics have a weightage of 5-20% and hence you stand a fair chance clearing these as well.

Even if you do not have great academic score doesn't mean you can't get into a good bschool. You should aim for all the old IIMs. If you get a good percentile in CAT, you might receive a call from quite a number of them. And then a lot depends on the personal interview. If you are able to ace it, you can easily get into them.

Other than MDI and FMS aim for all the IIMs. You can also look at SPJAIN, NMIMS, JBIMS. You can also go for XAT and look at XLRI.
