Hello aspirant,

you have secured a decent rank and with such merit rank you have higher chance of getting a seat in Osmania University, Hyderabad and JNTU, Hyderabad based on 2018 cut off trends. The seacured by candidate who have ranks below 1000.So after the filling of seats through GATE if there are vacancies you will get any of these universities.

I hope this is helpful to you.

thankyou

Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations on securing a great rank in TS PGECET. The rank of 44 shall get you your desired post graduation course in civil engineering in either Osmania University or Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. In order to back your contention for a seat in the government Institute, you have the support of your BC-D category reservation that shall come in handy in cementing a place in either of the Institutes.

While Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University has an intake of 25 seats each for both Transportation Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering, Osmania University has an intake of 10 seats for Geotechnical Engineering and 15 seats for Transportation Engineering.

Both OU and JNTUH are great government universities a and shall provide you a great exposure and you can learn a lot of skills.

In order to know among the two colleges, which is the better Institute, I suggest you to click on this URL:-

This great comparison tool shall help you in answering your queries. It compares colleges based on their merits and demerits and focusses on important parameters like scope for research, astute teaching faculty, skill oriented education, fee structure, infrastructure, etc.

You may choose the college which is either close to your home location or which has greater job opportunities. It will be easier for you to get into JNTUH than in Osmania University as the intake of the former Institute is quite more than that of the latter Institute.

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations! You have secured a good rank in TS PGECET. With this rank in BC_D category you have great chances JNTU Hyderabad for transportation engineering. From last year's cutoff for BC_D category in Osmania University, seats did not remain in civil engineering specializations. But cutoffs vary evry year and considering your rank, you can expect a seat in Osmania University.

I hope this is helpful to you.
All the best!
