Hi,

Its your interests that will guide you in this situation of doubt. You just need to choose the course that suits you the best. Let your will decide which course to opt for. A lot depends on your NEET score too.

At last, if you struggle in your interests, and you need to opt for an option for better opportunities, it would surely be better to go for M.B.B.S.

Hope this helps.

Good lucks.

Hi Sidharth,

Choice of course of study truly depends on what your interests are inclined towards. Clearing NEET in itself is a big achievement but the next step, that is, to choose your course of study should come from your field of expertise or the discipline in which you feel the most confident about. If you are looking for suggestions with respect to the kind of future prospects of each of the courses then again, the prospects are equal in all streams be it Unani or MBBS but you will definitely succeed in whatever you put your hardwork into.

I would suggest that you look at the offered subjects and then evaluate which one you prefer the best. That is the best way to go about it and you will definitely see how fruitful that’ll be.

All the best, I hope you make the best choice.

if you are qualifying Neet first of all your marks will dictate the eligibility for which course you can get a seat in and definitely all people usually choose medical over BDS or other Ayurvedic of homeopathy for veterinary courses because after purchasing your MBBS you have a for the chance of specialising or super specialising in diverse facilities from medicine, surgery, gynec orthopedics and a variety of other disciplines where is the options narrow down if you are a dental or alternate medicine graduate value can only super specialise on a few disciplines like maxillofacial surgery or prosthodontics or other super speciality disciplines of this kind.

how is it is completely your choice as well and if you have an app for some of these alternative medicines are dentistry I will not data you from pursuing your dreams but of course I tried to give you a practical outline of what the scenario might be after you graduate out of the streams you are selected by I need so now it is up to your conscience as to which one you would like to choose but definitely to get a medical seat you will need to score in excess of 500 to 550 to qualify for the various government medical colleges via the state or all India quota

Hii Siddharth

Actually it all depends on your interest as you have to give your 5 to 5.5 years of life to that  particular course so this decision can't be taken in just few minutes.you have to make your mind first that what are your interest and what do you want from life.its good that every individual should have a dream to follow but the reality is that it is not necessary that every dream may fulfill so you should have a backup plan for every dream.you have to struggle in every field, you just can't take any field easy so to get into anything you just need to do alot of hardwork.

Now come to your question,as we all know that MBBS cut-off of generally higher than BDS so it is difficult to secure a seat in MBBS than BDS but it doesn't mean that BDS course is bad,you have to work hard equally for both the courses so at last it all depends on your interest whether you want to pursue MBBS or you want to be pursue BDS so to make it simple for you I am just giving you pros and cons of both the fields and after that it's your choice that whether you want to join MBBS or BDS

1) if you are getting government seat in  MBBS course then you should go for it as we all know that some way or the other MBBS is superior than BDS but if you are getting private colleges than opt BDS as private mbbs  colleges are very expensive than private BDS colleges so it will be difficult for middle class families to pay such amount.

2) most of the students want to take admission in MBBS course so  it Increses the competition level big time while for BDS it is little easy to get a seat

3)  BDS is generally restricted to dental areas so you get confined while in MBBS you study overall so you need to have lot of patience while studying MBBS because you have to study everything.

4) in MBBS you will find better government job opportunities and salary while in BDS there is very little chances for government jobs so generally you have to setup your own clinic

5) academically both the fields are almost same so hard work is required in both the fields.

6) if you have a thought of serving for poor people than you should go for MBBS as after god there is a doctor who can save life.

Now come to the conclusion that the main thing is that whether you choose any field, ask yourself that are you satisfied with yourself or not because at last your satisfaction is important so choose your area of satisfaction.

I hope this information helps you.

All the best
