For the industrial chemistry engineering in IIT BHU .The average package is around 7.80 lpa
As far as placements only is concerned, there are many core companies that visited the campus regularly, key companies being HUL, RIL, KBR etc. There are ample opportunities in non core( consulting and analytics or IT sector). The cherry on the cake is gate. All major OMC's like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL hires through gate.

For mining engineering in ISM Dhanbad, average package is around 8-9 lpa .
Companies like CIL and Vedanta are best bet. Vedanta offers around 9 lpa while CIL used to pay handsomely but this year they were paying around 9.5 lpa. All of these figures are for CTC. Tata Stell normally pays 11 lpa, however they are generally not looking for Mining Engineers and therefore do not hope for a Tata Steel job. Several other companie visit but Id place the average figure around 9lpa.
