IIT BHU Placements
The Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, has a placement cell that is responsible for the placements of the students. As per NIRF 2023 report, 748 UG 3-year programme students and 241 UG 5-year programme students were placed with IIT BHU median salary package of Rs. 18.96 lakhs. 286 PG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 18 lakhs during IIT BHU placements.

IIT BHU Varanasi Placement Process
Invitation- The training and Placement cell (TPC) will send invitations to various organisations to participate in the IIT BHU Varanasi placement drive.
Job Application Form/ Internship Application form (JAF/IAF) - The interested companies should fill out a JAF/ IAF that contains details of the job profile and the company's requirements and submit it to the TPC.
Pre-Placements Talks- Dates and slots will be assigned to the interested companies by the TPC to conduct the written test or online test.
Shortlist- The list of shortlisted students for the final IIT BHU Varanasi placement process will be mailed by the companies to the TPC.
Interview- The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the organisation.
Final Listing- The company will provide the list of final selected students.
