Hello Aspirant,

To become a police officer, you must have a bachelor's degree in any domain but a degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Political Science or Sociology would be good from any acknowledged college or university.

The aspirant must finish the 10+2 level board exam from an acknowledged board with 45%  or more or a comparable CGPA.

You should pass the Entrance Exams like CSE or SSC as per your interest. After graduation, you will be eligible for higher posts in police like

Superintendent of Police or Deputy Superintendent of Police - UPSC CSE (IPS)

Assistant Commissioner of Police - UPSC CSE (IPS)

Sub Inspector - SSC
