Well both the colleges are great. It depends on your interests, as in which field you are interested in. It is quite likely that you may not have that much of an idea about the branches, and don't just go by their names. The names doesn't exactly tells what are the insights. After this, choose the branch which excites you more. The statistics may definitely say something else, but go for what you like and you feel you can do that. College wise, NIT Surathkal is ranked better than Nagpur, but the exposure you will get will be the same.
