Both colleges are almost same but NIRF Rankings and student reviews is quite better for VNIT Nagpur compared to NIT Raipur .Let know some details about colleges then you get some idea .

It is a Public/Government Institute , Courses offered here is Btech , mtech msc e.t.c. 27th NIRF Rank in engineering category , Average package offered for btech student is 6 Lakhs , good facilities and 110 students rated 4.1/5 for this college .

Here both the branches are totally different with various and number of scopes and oppurtunities. So first of all you have to decide which stream you want to pursue. But NIT Nagpur is much better than the other and NITs also have the option for upgrading of their branch at the end of their first year if the requirements are fulfilled.

So in my opinion NIT Nagpur will be a better option.
