Which is better new IIIT's or Old private colleges like Thapar Institute of engineering and technology ?

Hello Ishan, 

This is completely a perspective of thinking like what one needs from a college i.e. A good name with government support or better education. Same is the case for students opting for newer IITs instead of established NITs. 

Here if we talk about Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology then it is 1956 established renowned engineering college with NAAC 'A' grade certification and has been ranked 20th in India's best 100 engineering institutes.

TIET is obviously a better choice in this case but different people have different perspectives and final decision is always going to be yours. So be confident with what you choose and yes choose wisely. :)
