Nuclear Medicine is an established clinical speciality with wide-ranging diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. This is a specialized branch of medicine and is multidisciplinary in nature. It requires skills of a trained manpower of which technologist is a significantly important person. There is a gross deficiency of trained technologist in our country. They are trained in the department without any formal teaching or curriculum.
