24 MonthsPost Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow.
Eligibility Criteria
- a. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate (12th Standard examination) or (10+2) or an equivalent exam recognized by the University for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986 will be eligible for admission.
- b. Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council of Uttar Pradesh (UP Nurses and Midwives Council).
- c. candidates who have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council outside Uttar Pradesh state will be eligible if their institution/college is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. d. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with the State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration instead of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
- 1) O.T. Techniques
- 2) Ophthalmic Nursing
- 3) Leprosy Nursing
- 4) TB Nursing
- 5) Psychiatric Nursing 6) Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing
- 7) Community Health Nursing
- 8) Cancer Nursing
- 9) Orthopaedic Nursing
