Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Industrial Design is a four-year full-time course offered by Avantika University, Ujjain.

Industrial Design is a unique program centered on creating delight through good design. The learner starts with an observed need or an idea which is transformed through form, structure, color, material, texture, environment, and detailing to a digital and physical prototype. The outcome could be a product, an interaction, a space, or an experience which creates sustainable value and evokes a positive emotional response for the intended user.

10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam)
50% aggregate in all subjects
Proficiency in English
Valid score of MIT Pune Design Entrance Test (DET)
Valid score of Design Scholarship Test (DST)
DET is jointly conducted by MIT Institute of Design, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune

Batch of 2027-01-01 | B.Des Industrial Design

College Infrastructure

This college has great facilities with respect to the infrastructure. One academic block along with hostel and mess. Gym with good equipments, Volleyball court, Lawn tennis and Basketball court are open for students to use. Computer labs have all essential softwares needed for design. None are cracked versions. Mess food is amazing and hostel maintainence is great. However, it is based in the outskirts of ujjain so in need of emergency, we have to travel atleast half an hour.
