Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University is a state university located in Junagadh, Gujarat. The university came into existence in 2015. It offers a wide range of academic courses/programs in different fields and hosts its students on a 235-acre campus. The student enrolment of 627 in all its courses makes it an institution committed to quality education with classes of manageable size, and having the faculty count is 23.

BKNMU has furnished facilities to match with the modern academic syllabus. The university has a library which acts as a knowledge center for both the students as well as the staff. In the undergraduate courses, almost always the admission process is based on the candidate's performance in their 12th standard examination results. Postgraduate admissions may require candidates with the relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum percentage as specified by the university. The university can conduct entrance tests and interviews itself for research programs such as M.Phil and Ph.D. It accepts many national and state-level entrance examinations; NEET is one of them that is valid for its medical programs.
