Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University Khadia was established in 2015.  The university promotes excellence in higher education by inculcating independent critical thinking, and socio-scientific temperament for capacity building. Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University also empowers the learners to achieve their professional and social goals. 

Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University Khadia courses include MA, PGD, MSc, MCom, M.Phil., and Ph.D. Admission into MA, PGD, MSc and MCom are given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination. MPhil and PhD scores admissions are given based on the valid PET/NET/GSET  and the entrance exam scores. Eligible students are also provided with scholarships at BKNMU Khadia to pursue further studies at the college. BKNMU Khadia is a state government university and is approved by the Union Grants Commission (UGC).
