      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh Admission Process

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh offers admission at two different levels. The CIBS Leh admission into BAMS is given based on valid NEET scores. CIBS Leh admission into BA and BFA are given based on entrance test scores followed by an interview process. CIBS Leh MA admission process is done based on the entrance test scores conducted by the institute and the interview process. 

      Students must follow the guidelines as provided by the management of the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies. Admissions at CIBS Leh are given to eligible students on a merit basis.

      B.A., BAMS, BFA and MA are the courses offered by the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies for admissions.  The course curriculum gives the students in-depth knowledge about the topics being covered during the academic period.

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies Admission Process: BA/BFA 2025:

      • Qualified students must complete and apply forms online.

      • Students who fulfil the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies eligibility criteria are qualified.

      • Students must receive a merit score on the qualifying exam.

      • A selection of students is prepared based on merit acquired by the students.

      • It is advised that applicants attend the CIBS Leh counselling session on the day designated by management.

      • CIBS Leh Seat allotments are made to students based on their performance on the qualifying exam.

      • To get the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies admission confirmed, students must pay the course fee and submit the required documentation for verification as soon as seats are assigned.  

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies BAMS Admission Process 2025:

      • Eligible students are advised to fulfil the CIBS Leh eligibility criteria.

      • Aspirants are advised to have valid NEET scores before applying.

      • Based on the merit acquired by students in NEET, students are further shortlisted.

      • Shortlisted aspirants are advised to appear for the CIBS Leh counselling process.

      • Based on the student's performance in the counselling process, aspirants are allotted seats.

      • Once after the allocation of seats, aspirants are advised to pay the CIBS Leh course fee and submit the documents for verification.

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies PG Admissions 2025:

      MA Bhot Literature, MA Bauddh Puranic History, MA Bhot Bauddh Darshan, MA Sanskrit Literature, MA Comparative Philosophy and MA Sanskrit Bauddh Darshan are the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies courses that are offered for CIBS Leh admissions.

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies MA Admission Process 2025:

      • Online applications are accepted from the students who meet the CIBS Leh admission requirements. 

      • Aspirants are advised to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the institute. 

      • Applicants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

      • Shortlisted merit students are advised to appear for the CIBS Leh interview process. 

      • To streamline the process, the CIBS Leh course fee should be paid by the students to get the CIBS Leh seats reserved. 

      • CIBS Leh admissions are confirmed only after the verification of the documents. 

      Central Institute of Buddhist Studies  Admission Documents Required:

      • All educational certificates.

      • Transfer certificate.

      • Caste certificate.

      • Migration certificate, if any.

      • ID Proof.

      • Passport-size photograph.
