The Central University of Haryana, also known as CUH is a central university that emerged in the year 2009. It is one of the 15 central universities established by MHRD, Govt. of India under the 11th five year plan of 2007-2012. CUH is fully funded by the UGC. The University has a placement cell which acts as a mediator between industries and students. It offers placement assistance to the students and enhances their skills in order to shape their careers. It also conducts a career counseling programme for them in order to guide them in their careers related decisions. There is a placement procedure which is followed by the placement cell at CUH-
Step 1: The Placement Cell of CUH sends an invitation to the recruiters. Interested companies accept the invitation and contact the Placement Cell for the further placement process.
Step 2: Candidates interested for participation in the CUH placement drive have to register with the placement cell. Upon mutual agreement between the Placement Cell and the companies, dates are finalized.
Step 3: Companies visiting the university for conducting placement drive deliver a Pre-Placement talk to make students well aware of the basic policies followed by the company and students can clear all the queries.
Step 4: After the Pre-Placement talk is delivered by the recruiting company, written tests are taken by the recruiters to judge the technical skills and knowledge possessed by a student.
Step 5: Students qualifying the written test will have to participate in Group Discussion and candidates voicing their opinion and presenting their thoughts in front of the interviewers are selected for the interview. Candidates have to qualify the personal interview once they qualify the Group Discussion.
Step 6: This is the last stage of the placement procedure, wherein candidates qualifying all the stages of the CUH placement process are finally selected and only these selected candidates are given offer letters.

Campus is fully AC and 24x7 security available. Campus gives fully peaceful and green environment.All buildings are new. Classes are well maintained. College canteen also provide hygienic food at low cost. College hostels are also available for girls and boys.
Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. It has labs with enough equipments, a big auditorium hall and many other things. Classrooms are well-maintained and well furnished. Smart boards are available in all the classrooms. And wifi facility is available in the whole campus. Hostels are not so good. Number of rooms should be increased in hostels. Living spaces is clean and food is hygienic.
The campus is completely wi-fi enabled, or so they claim. The university gates are closed for students at 7 pm - 7;30 pm. There are not many privileges for Hostel though. Three people are allowed in one room in girl's hostel.
