24 MonthsThe Objective of this 2 years M.A/M.Sc. programme in Mathematics is to enhance the mathetical knowledge and skill of students to an international level. The programme is designed to equip the students with the advanced knowledge level of training in an increasingly competative international market. The students on successful completion of the programme should be able to handle the responsible position in any public sector organizations or to pursue a fruitful career in research and teaching in Mathematics. It is anticipated that the students of this programme will serve the needs of financial & insurance sectors, banking, information technology, and industrial research and development.

A candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks 45% in case of SC/ST ) with Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized university.
All the admission shall be done on the basis of All India Entrance Test. Presently it is being conducted through Common Entrance Examination conducted by Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET).
