The infrastructure over all is nice but the scope of improvement is their . The lush green campus keeps students happy . Maybe the university should renovate some old building.in some departments modern equipment’s lack .

Currently i am persuing my MBA . I persuaded it because i have interest in business, managing it and learning about it .the quality of teaching at my university is nice but it can be improved . Some subjects need to be eliminated because they are not relevant now .

Not nice to be honest . MBA students get sales jobs mostly. They bring the worst company’s with pethetic salary. University should work on it maybe collaborate with good company so that they provide good opportunity to students .

The cost per year ia around 13 thousand.the degree from Kashmir University have great value . The educational quality is nice so yeah overall its worth the money

Campus life ia crazy . The huge campus helps students to engage in various sports activities, also their are various cultural programs . And informative secession.

The college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. The classrooms are assisted with digital boards libraries are equipped with all the necessary books and references, living spaces are super clean and hygienic.

I am currently b pharma student there and i feel the quality of teaching is best . Professors are highly experienced and the curriculum is up to date and include all the recent developments in the field .

The quality of placement is not that much good as compared to other pharmaceutical science colleges. Yet placement drives occur regularly but the overall rate is not high . Yes surely the college is highly supportive.

This course in such a prestigious university at such minimal fee is highly appreciable and best value for money.yes i do feel that i am getting my moneys worth. The department is having all the necessary facilities so its value for money.

The campus life is best .the teachers students including juniors and seniors and other staff members are highy friendly and cooperative .the feature of college is its having clean lawns clean parks and hygienic canteens.

Good infrastructure, has water purification centre on every floor with each floor having clear and santry washrooms. Class rooms are well equipped aswell. Each classroom has digital boards assisted with ai.

Good acadmic with best teachers and staff is friendly . The quality of education is top notch. The students are taught in such a way to make them job ready curriculum is up to date and all the recent developments in the field.

The quality placement is not that much advanced .the placement ration is low as compared to the other professional institutes in the valley. Yet college is supportive and teachers guide students to explore the various jobs and placements.

This institutes is value for money as this institute provides such great course with such minimal budget. And i feel i am getting my moneys worth. The institute provides such facilities at this cost is highly appreciable.

Campus is really good with greenery every where. Campus has public washrooms aswell too use. Presence of bike and car parking is also available to use. Trees are present to sit in shadow and relax during free time.

Our university hass all the necessary infrastructure and facilitiea and equipments .each classroom in our dept has wifi smartboards.which are updated ..full maintanace of cleaniness and hygeine is ensured

Im currently studying pharmacy..doing bachel9rs and getting a good quality of education in the major, we are studing the recent updated syllabus and is still updating ..the academics make us ready to face the challanges andwill surely make us self sufficient

Lately there is a bit shortage of govt jobs in our pharmacy sector but now witb upcoming time there are emerging new posts ...on top of that mny students are there who have been selected as pharmacisits in many prestegeous institutes

We g pay almost yealy 12 to 15 thousands for our degree yes it feels gpod satisfying ..comperatively by comapring with pharmacy students of other colleges i feel we are getting what we pay for in overall degree may it be acedemics may it be praticle or co curiculum

Our university campus i,e main campus srinagar is one of the most beautiful places one can visit in life and to study in such place is dream to many..it has god beautiful gardens ,water fountains,and on top of all chinar trees all over naseem bagh side ..that make it so attractive .its safe for all students ,we hare having a health center ib the campus itself

The department has a beautiful building with well developed laboratories(each subject having their own lab), modern digital classrooms, library (within department) and intra-net wifi access to students. Apart from department library we have central library (Allama iqbal library i.e, that is one of the oldest richest and largest libraries of the country). The campus of university is highly maintained with beautiful parks and lawns. Living spaces are clean and hygienic and canteens well maintained and hygienic.

The academics here is top notch without any doubt. It has been accredited with an "A++"grade by NAAC for its prestigious academic profile. The faculty members are well experienced and highly supportive they encourage students towards research and drug development.

The department of pharmaceutical sciences provides promising career support by regularly coordinating with CCPC for on campus placement drives. Famous organizations like glenmark HLL lifecare ltd and medley visit for campus hiring.

The yearly fee for b pharm student here is around 12000 per year. With highly reasonable fee structure the department offers incredible value for money. What we pay is truly minimal compared to the top-tier quality of education and resources we receive in return.

The campus is beautifully designed on the bank of Dal lake having well oriented parks lawns . The campus hosts its own botanical garden that adds up its beauty. Students can engage here in variety of sports like badminton cricket volley ball football running etc . The students teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The campus is designed in such a way that it can handle any crisis of emergency with ease.

It's a useful resource, but not extensive enough for advanced research. The sports facilities are decent, with both indoor and outdoor options, though they aren't heavily utilized by all students. As for the hostels, the living spaces are generally clean, though some maintenance issues pop up occasionally. The food served in the hostels is hygienic, but the variety and quality could be better. It’s adequate for daily needs, but if you're picky about food, it might not always meet expectations. In summary, while the infrastructure is functional, there’s room for improvement, especially in laboratories and the overall maintenance of campus facilities.

I pursued an M.Sc in Zoology at the University of Kashmir because of my strong interest in animal biology, conservation, and the study of ecosystems. The quality of teaching varied—some professors were highly knowledgeable and engaging, while others were not as interactive. However, overall, the faculty was supportive and willing to help students who showed interest in the subject. The curriculum provided a solid foundation in core areas like animal physiology, ecology, and genetics, but it felt somewhat outdated in terms of modern developments. Topics like conservation biology and biotechnology were covered, but the curriculum didn’t always incorporate the latest research or technological advancements in the field, such as molecular biology techniques or advancements in wildlife conservation. While the program prepared me with essential knowledge, there was limited focus on practical training, which made it challenging to be fully job-ready after completing the degree. Additional internships or hands-on research experience outside of the curriculum would have helped bridge that gap and made the learning more applicable to real-world scenarios.

During my time at the University of Kashmir, the quality of placements was not very strong, especially for the M.Sc Zoology program. While some students did manage to find opportunities, the overall placement rate was quite low, with only a few securing positions in research or educational institutions. The highest salary package offered was limited, with most students opting for further studies or internships rather than direct job placements. The average salary for those who did secure positions was not particularly high, as the job opportunities in the field of Zoology are relatively niche. The placement process was not as streamlined as I expected. It was not particularly easy or pleasant, as the support from the college was minimal, and there were very few placement drives or collaborations with companies in our field. The college did provide some assistance with internships, but for job placements, the efforts were lacking. While the faculty was supportive in terms of guidance for academic matters, the placement cell and related services could have been more proactive and effective in helping students secure jobs.

The cost of the M.Sc Zoology program at the University of Kashmir was relatively affordable compared to other institutions, with the annual fee being around ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. While this is a reasonable fee, I feel that I did not fully get my money’s worth in terms of infrastructure and support. The fees were manageable, but given the limited practical exposure, outdated infrastructure, and lack of job-oriented skills training, I believe the overall value could have been higher. The curriculum was solid, but there was not enough hands-on learning or career development support to make the experience truly enriching or job-ready. In conclusion, while the cost was not high, I feel that the quality of education and the resources provided were not proportional to the fees paid. If there were better infrastructure, more research opportunities, and stronger industry connections, I would have felt more satisfied with my investment.

The students are generally friendly and supportive, but some may find the overall campus environment a bit casual. The faculty members are knowledgeable, but there is variability in teaching quality, and some professors are more approachable than others. Support staff is helpful, but there can be delays in administrative tasks. The campus is located in a relatively safe area, but like any university, students are advised to be cautious. The security is decent, and there are proper protocols in place for handling emergencies. The university has medical facilities and emergency services, but they might not be as prompt or advanced as one would expect in larger cities.

For future students, it's important to be proactive about seeking internships, research opportunities, and gaining practical experience outside the university, as the placement process and career services may not provide as much support. If you're looking for a peaceful, academically rigorous environment with some room for growth, the University of Kashmir could be a good fit, but be prepared to take initiative in shaping your career.

the university campus is impressive. the classrooms are equipped with technologically advanced educational tools. the university has a main library and each department has its own library cum reading room.

the academic environment is commendable .the faculty is really very good and teachers and well experienced .the teachers conducted continuous assessment and quiz to test our knowledge which at the same time is really helpful for final exams.

most of the students get placement in various departments .companies from sectors actively recruit graduates who possess the required caliber. various students of the university get placement in the university itself.

the fees of the course is really not too much and pretty affordable. Also if the student secures 1st or the 2nd position in the entrance exams, based on merit the can avail scholarships. therefore it actually in value for money.

the best thing about the campus is that it is surrounded with beautiful chinar trees . the campus is really huge. Various events like freshers is also conducted by various departments. life at the campus is very calm and serene.

The law faculty of the University of Kashmir is the best in the entire valley of Kashmir. It has a robust law society with an incredible staff. The environment is serene as well with magnificent university gardens and parks.

Academic is good over there rather the best you can find in Kashmir. The library is well equipped too with a good collection of books. Some of the professors are exceptional and focus on the practical aspects of law as well.

Law faculty has an active internship and placement cell that provides internship opportunities and training to the students. Many students of law faculty are studying in the world's greatest universities including Oxford, Hongkong University, and Queen Marry, and have been placed in firms like Tri Legal, Vidhi, and so on.

I think the money that I spent was worth it. The Courses at law faculty are affordable around 14k per year and that makes it accessible to all sections of society. As it is a government institute with an NAC ranking of A++.

Campus life is lively with beautiful china trees and gardens that make you feel that you are in a heaven laden with natural beauty. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. Apart from that there are almost weekly events and seminars. It is located in the center of Harzratbal Srinagar with accessible transportation.

Excellent, the university has WiFi connectivity and overall infrastructure is nice. Some old buildings might need little bit of renovation, otherwise the university has up-to-date infrastructure and facilities.

Good academic fields. Students has a variety of choices to choose from and a nice faculty to understand problems. Overall good department and the quality of teaching is also nice. The classes are taken regularly and completes degree on time .

Provide placements in some courses, but not in all courses. Although placements are given but the rate is very less and not every year the university is able to provide placements . It would be better if the university works on providing placements to the students that graduate.

The university is not expensive and values money.

Yes the college has all the basic infrastructure, facilities and equipment. College has library, dispensary and a good cricket ground. Yes college provides hostel facility. There is no wifi facility provided by college.

I am studying bsc geography and i choose this course because i was interested in knowing more about geographical studies which involve study of earth. the curriculum is updated and has all the recent updates included. Yes this course makes me job ready.

The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Very few students get placed each year. The highest package offered was 3 lakhs which went to BBA. Average package offered was 2 lakhs per annum.
