72 MonthsPh.D. programe in Psychology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Dr DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University, Pune.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidate must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology or a closely related field (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Organizational Psychology, etc.). The degree must be awarded by a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category candidates) or an equivalent grade.
2. Applicants holding professional qualifications in Psychology (e.g., M.Phil. in Psychology) or related disciplines may also be eligible, subject to university norms.
Admission Details
Candidates must qualify for the university’s Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) or have a valid score in recognized national-level exams such as UGC-NET, SET, SLET, or equivalent.
