Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (DHSGSU) was established in 1946 by Sir Doctor Harisingh Gour. Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar is popularly known as DHSGSU Sagar. The university was formerly named the University of Saugar till 1983. DHSGSU Sagar is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. As per the official website, the mission of Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar is to maintain high-quality standards and provide a delightful experience to students in terms of academics. The vision of DHSGSU Sagar is to provide education and service for the development of society. DHSGSU Sagar campus is spread across 1300 acres of land and provides sports, medical, banking and Wi-Fi facilities to the students and faculty members. The campus has infrastructure that includes spacious classrooms, an auditorium, a centralised library, and canteen. DHSGSU Sagar campus offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The university has spacious classrooms with modern facilities. DHSGSU Sagar campus has different libraries for all courses and a centralised library that provides a good variety of books for all courses and other study materials available for the students. Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar Admission

The university offers admission at UG and PG level. Admission to these programmes will be done through entrance tests such as the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) which is conducted by Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar admission team. The placement cell focuses on the overall development of the students and organises pre-placement training programmes for the students. DHSGSU Sagar placement cell is responsible for organising various events and activities for the students to improve their skills and give an insight into the industry working culture. The placement cell organises workshops and training sessions for technical, aptitude, verbal and soft skills. DHSGSU Sagar placement cell has set up a startup cell to encourage students to share new business ideas and begin their career with it. The placement cell organises group discussions and guest lectures on various topics and upcoming job opportunities and different career options available for the students of Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar.

DHSGSU Sagar Placement Process

Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar placement cell invites companies and organisations to the placement drive.
The invited companies organise a pre-placement event where they give an insight about the companies working structure, job description to the students and take up queries from the students based on the company and sectors in which companies are working.
Interested students have to submit their CVs to the DHSGSU Sagar placement cell for the further placement process.
Students are shortlisted on the basis of their CVs by the organisations.
Organisations who participate in the DHSGSU Sagar placement drive begin their selection process which includes a written test of the selected students, group discussions and personal interviews of the selected students.
Final selected students will be offered jobs by the organisations.

According to NIRF 2021 data, for DHSGSU Sagar placements for UG (3-years courses) & PG (2-years courses) programmes. Out of 628 UG students, 135 students were placed. For the PG programme, out of 301 PG students, 46 PG students were placed in organisations from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar. A total of 90 UG programme students and 20 PG programme students opted for higher studies after completion of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar. The median package for the UG students was Rs. 2,25,000 and for PG students it was Rs. 3,50,000.

DHSGSU Sagar Scholarship

Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar offers scholarships to deserving students and students who are in the need of financial assistance. Students can avail the minority, physically disabled scholarships from the DHSGSU administration. Students can also apply to various national-level scholarships through the DHSGSU Sagar administration.

National Level Scholarships

A valid certificate of disability. The annual income of the student's family should not be above Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
Post Graduate Scholarship for single girl child	An amount of Rs 36,200 per annum for the period of two years of the PG programme will be offered to the student.	Applicable for a single child girl student who has taken admission in a regular PG programme course.

Steps to Follow for Filling DHSGSU Sagar Application Form

Candidates have to register online on the admission portal of DHSGSU Sagar for admission in the desired course and fill up the application form regarding the same.
In the application form, candidates have to provide their information such as personal details, educational details.

College Infrastructure

No doubt the infrastructure is good. They provide all the facilities along with a stadium and gym too. Wi-fi , mess ,canteen, stationaries, auditorium and wide campus with greenery all around. All can one get disappointed with is the hygiene.

Yes it is the best experience I have ever had.

College Infrastructure

The university have several Departments with facilities of smart classes. The campus provide free WiFi. Some of the famous schools of University are Research and Development, Planning and Resources Genration, school of Arts and Information science, school of Commerce and Management, etc. University has separate Stadium and Hospital for students.

yes the college have all necessary infrastructure with hardworking faculty members and all equipments. university. yes living spaces are clean and the food is hygenic , having wifi facilities, outdoor and indoor sports Academics I was studying B.A.LL.B (Hons.) to pursue law, quality of teaching is good. Yes i thought curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field. yes it makes me ready for exams as well as future Placements.
