36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics and Statistics program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by the DY Patil International University, Akurdi.
Eligibility Criteria
- 4-year undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech.) or a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks in their eligibility examinations or an equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates with a high score in national/state-level qualifying exams such as NET (UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, ICAR), JAM, PERA, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, NMAT, GATE, or GRE will be preferred
- Candidates may avail themselves of any existing fellowship during the PhD program
- Due consideration would be given to candidates with experience as research assistants/fellows working with recognized research institutions/industries during the admission process
