The classrooms are comfortable also also provides needs for a student such as sufficient charging port for emergency use and also air conditioners. And also has vending machines to buy consumables, washrooms are clean and maintained however theres no to low wifi connection and it also messes your cellular data, signal strength is weak and also college cafeteria has rats eating flour and other food ingredients
Currently im studying computer science (BCA to be specefic) and im here sharing my personal experience. The college does not provide us with any textbook every notes and intel is uploaded on their software "moodle" which needs a lot of optimization the app is unstable i face lots of login issues and back when i recently joined college it took me months to actually access my moodle account and the reading material inside it. Quality of teaching here is mediocre as some of the professors dont even know basic english while also they talk about how hard their subject and also just read the slides rather than explaining it
Career support is minimal at best. Internship and placement opportunities are rare, and the college does not actively help students network with industry professionals. For the amount we’re paying, I expected a lot more in terms of faculty engagement, academic support, and real-world preparation.
I enrolled in this college with high expectations however it has proven to be a poor investment. Fees is high compared to quality of education and facilities provided also limited access to labs and learning resources
Not so great campus life
One of the standout features of this college is its impressive infrastructure. From the moment you step onto the campus, it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space that supports both academic and personal growth. The classrooms are modern, spacious, and equipped with smart boards and reliable Wi-Fi, which makes learning much more interactive and engaging.
The academics are decent with a balanced mix of theory and practicals. Some faculty are great, while others are average. Overall, it provides a satisfactory learning experience. An average experience .
Placements are disappointing, with limited companies visiting and low package offers. Many students struggle to secure relevant jobs, making career support a major area for improvement. It can be improved.
For the fees charged, the college offers decent facilities and a good campus experience, but due to weak placements, the overall value for money feels lacking for many students. But there are many changes taking place thus showing improvement.
The campus life is vibrant and full of energy, with regular fests, clubs, and events that keep students engaged. It’s a great place to make friends, grow socially, and enjoy college years. Also, there are many other things getting adding up to it.
My experience at this college has been pretty average overall. To be blunt, it's mid – not terrible, but definitely not great either. Some of the faculty genuinely care and try their best, but there are others who seem disengaged or unprepared. The course structure is often outdated, and there's a noticeable lack of practical exposure in many programs. Facilities are hit or miss. While a few labs and classrooms are decently equipped, others feel neglected and underfunded. The campus itself has potential but suffers from poor maintenance in places. Administrative processes can be slow and frustrating, with very little student support when things go wrong. Social life is decent if you put yourself out there, but the overall atmosphere isn’t particularly vibrant or motivating. That said, if you're self-driven and make an effort, you can still make the most out of your time here.

In short, this college won’t hand you a great experience on a silver platter — you’ll have to fight for it. But if you're looking for a bare-bones, affordable option and know what you're getting into, it’s manageable.

DY Patil International University, Akurdi, has a decent and modern campus. Classrooms are smart, labs are up-to-date (especially for CS and networking), and the library is digital-friendly. Wi-Fi is good across campus. Since it’s a fairly new university, some things like big sports grounds or auditoriums are still developing. But overall, infrastructure is solid for a growing institute.
Academics here are future-focused. They offer trending courses like AI, IoT, Blockchain, and Data Science in B.Tech and BCA. The curriculum is more practical and project-based than traditional rote learning. Teachers are helpful, some are really good, and the system allows students to explore multiple skills through electives and workshops.
Placements are average but improving each year. Startups and mid-sized companies visit the campus. CS and IT students have better chances; core branches still need stronger company ties. The training and placement cell helps with resume building, aptitude training, and mock interviews. If you're skilled and take initiative, you can get placed well.
Compared to other private universities, DYPIU is affordable. The fees are reasonable, and in return, you get good labs, updated curriculum, and exposure to real-world tech. For students serious about tech careers, it's worth the investment. Placements need to get stronger for full ROI, but overall, it's not overpriced.
Campus life is chill and friendly. There are tech fests, cultural events, clubs, and hackathons. Students are involved in a lot of activities, so it's not just study-study. Hostel life is okay, and the area around campus is peaceful. Not too many hangout spots nearby, but you’ll manage with friends and events.
The college is actually equipped with dedicated labs for every department , clean washrooms , inhouse cafeterias etc. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, projectors , wifi , AC classrooms etc. Clean campus with clean classrooms and labs which are dedicated to every department from bioengineering to Computer Science engineering , from mechanics to robotics etc.
I am pursuing my Btech In cse with specialization in data science , the quality of teaching is average but very practical because the course is industry oriented. The course is uptodate because we have to do internships every year after final semester which creates a strong resume and we gain experience.
This s is a new college established in 2018 which comes under DY Patil College of engineering. DY Patil International University is newly established therefore the placements are not up to the mark but still companies like Tech.Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, McKinley Rice were here for the placement etc. Around 60 % of students were placed with highest of 10 lpa for CSE cyber security The average package for this year is around 5 lakhs per annum The placement happened through pod.ai but there was no placement training before placements .
The total cost of the course was 210000 per year which has been increased now to around 3 lakhs something. I am neutral about the fact that money's worth is satisfied
Campus life is great with fest , events etc, but these are eventual , permanently not that good because life becomes a little monotonous. But for relaxation and fun we have cafeterias , gardens , and other refreshment spots. Students usually form a group not only from their batch but with seniors and juniors as well which creates a very friendly environment. The teaching staff is considerably good in behaviour until and unless you are doing something provocative. The location is around city itself with polic station and hospital in just 300 MTRS of distance
Well, if you are seeking a very happening college , you can opt for it but regarding career may have to do hardwork.
D Y PATIL INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY has the greatest infrastructure in the pune city. You can spend lot of time in campus with friends. All classes are well structured with TV screen and AC . Great experience
Academic experience is the of of best experience in DYPIU. Faculties have expertise in there subjects which give exposure to wide syllabus. All Syllabus is regarding what is required in particular sector.
D Y PATIL INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY has great placements . There are special Placement co ordinaters for every domain. I am pursuing MBA in finance, Marketing has more scope in finance currently. Marketing have lot of jobs then finance
Yes it's worth.
Great experience
The infrastructure of the college is very good. The classes are well maintained and have beautiful ambience. College has library with good set of books. There is also a canteen in the college which has variety of snacks
Academic here in the college is very standard and learning oriented. the subjects here are quite useful and adds a value in the students skill set. The curriculum has both theoretical as well as practical knowledge facility with well educated professors.
Placements is also very good here in the college. The ratio of students placed recently is quite good. College do bring leading companies and students are being placed with a better salary and recognition
The college is overall good with a good value for money for the working professional who wants to pursue higher studies as well.
The infrastructure of my department is quite good. It has all the necessities a modern classroom requires. Projector, board, AC, fans—the rooms are quite equipped. The department library is also very good. The hostel facilities are fine, but the food quality is a disappointment.
I am studying MBA digital business. The faculty at this college is a mixed bag. On the positive side, there are a few standout professors who are genuinely passionate about their subjects and go above and beyond to help students understand complex concepts.
Attending this college in terms of placements has been a major disappointment. The promises made during the admissions process about top-tier companies recruiting students turned out to be completely hollow. The number of companies actually coming to the college for recruitment is lower than advertised.
I am giving only 3 stars cause the placement are not good
Campus life is good here at dy Patil.
Overall good college but could be better
The college have very good infrastructure and facilities .they have ac classrooms good space and amazing library ,every class have smart boards and all are well maintained .college canteen have amazing taste and its hygienic .
In academics they have very friendly staff and all teachers are like friends we can talk and ask whatever we want . as im doing mba in digital business i think its an amazing course from people who are into tech.
placement in my college is good the highest package was around 46 lakh per annum and lowest was 6 per annum if im not wrong .the placement team all bring companies to the students from the very start .
Yes its totally value for money .

It has nice infrastructure And healthy and clean environment. It’s provide Facility for student like Wi-Fi, drinking water facility Also, the classroom was Well, maintain library was good And sports Centre and hostels are provided by college and it’s a good facilities.
I study in MBA because I have eager to learn About Management, I Enjoy it. The teaching staff and college management are very supportive. The curriculum of the Courses are updated And They provide new subjects to our curriculum for better development For gaining a good knowledge.
Placements are little good, but the highest package 8LPA. Lowest package around 5LPA. Also, they provide a good courses and support from placements cell To students to build their resume. They need to improve their placements And also, college is supportive Placements.
