About FRI Dehradun
In 1906, the Forest Research Institute Dehradun came into existence. The disciplines pursued in the institute are Silviculture, Resource Survey and Management, Social Forestry, Minor Forest Produce, Ecology and Conservation, Genetics and Tree propagation, Forest Protection, Forest Botany, Forest Products, and Forest Operations. FRI Dehradun courses are M.Sc and Ph.D. which are offered with specialisations. And these courses are offered in different areas of study such as Environmental Science, Pulp and Paper Technology, Bio-informatics, and others. Eligible students are also offered placement opportunities and other essential facilities as needed by the students during their stay at the campus premises.

FRI Dehradun Scholarship
The scholarships are offered by the college on the basis of merit, that is, the academic performance of the candidates. FRI Dehradun scholarships are offered to those students, who secure their names in the merit list, either prepared based on the scores of the entrance test or scores in each semester. The entrance test-based scholarship is provided at the time of admission and semester-based scholarships are provided after the performance of the candidates in each semester. The qualified students are awarded the scholarship amount every semester. Forest Research Institute scholarship amount is a 50% rebate in tuition fees. For each M.Sc. programme, a maximum of two scholarships are awarded, one for general category candidates and the other for SC/ST. ICFRE employees’ wards are also eligible for the scholarships but on the basis of merit.

As per the previous years marks vs rank with 465 marks you can expect an all india rank in the range of 65000-75000.
The rank obtained for marks and cutoff marks for admission changes every year as they depend on factors like number of student applied, category etc.

You can try for the private medical colleges or otyer medical courses like B.A.M.S, B.U.M.S etc.
