72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Pharmacy shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, a course offered by Gopal Narayan Singh University, Rohtas.
Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility criteria for pursuing this course is that a student must qualify for a Master's degree in Pharmacy or any equivalent course securing a minimum of 55% of marks/qualifying in the entrance examinations.
- Those exempted from GPAT: A candidate who has qualified in a national level test such as the National Eligibility Test (NET-JRF), CSIR-JRF, NET-LS (without fellowship), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test Gopal Narayan Singh University Ph.D. Admission Test (GPAT), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) accredited by UGC, Central or State Government will be considered for direct admission if otherwise eligible.
Admission Details
A candidate who is qualified in a national level test such as the National Eligibility Test (NETJRF), NT-LS (without fellowship), Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) accredited by UGC, shall be considered for direct admission to the Ph.D. program without appearing in the GPAT but they have to fill up the application form. They would be required to qualify in an Interview to be eligible for consideration for registration for a Ph.D. in the concerned discipline.
