HJUJ is named after an eminent former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Haridev Joshi, who was also a freedom fighter and a committed journalist in the tribal region of Banswara. HJUJ’s curriculum offers a combine theory and practices through its academic programmes, which are based on an interdisciplinary approach. This is a professional university dedicated to media academics. The courses offered at HJU provide a healthy mix of theoretical knowledge, technical skills and practical training in the various specialized areas of journalism and mass communication.
