The library in the university is a treasure house of information and knowledge, which plays an important role in the development of students and teachers. Haridev Joshi University will emerge as a center of excellence on the strength of its rich library, which will store rare works, old magazines, and the latest books and other audio-visual material on media. This library will not only provide dense textual material for students, researchers, and teachers but also reference journals and research journals. Her books and other material related to media will be available on other subjects including law, history, communication research, cinema studies, developmental environmental issues, advertising, and public relations. Hindi and English newspapers, as well as periodicals, can also be read in the library. A library venture has also been undertaken by the library to collect books and audio-visual material with public support. Useful material has been invited from a collection of eminent journalists. The founder-vice-chancellor of the university, Om Thanvi, has contributed one thousand works from his personal library and collection of cinema, etc. About one thousand books have been received in collaboration with India International Center. Similarly, important books and reference material are being received from many journalists, which are otherwise unavailable now.
