Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat was established in the year 2017. It is a young institution that aims to cater to the needs of the Information Technology Industry. It serves as one of the 20 IIITs in the country of national importance. IIIT Surat Scholarship
Students while studying at IIIT Surat are eligible to apply for several national and state-level scholarships. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat scholarship amount will be given to them only in case they meet the eligibility criteria. National Scholarship Portal: Eligible students can also avail of scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. Candidates must belong to the economically weaker section with an annual family income of Rs. 2.5. Lakh or less to get benefitted from this scholarship. He or she must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent of the marks.
Rajasthan Government: Scholarship System: Rajasthan Government offers State Government Scholarships to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds. Eligible students of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat can also avail this scholarship.
Uttar Pradesh Government: Scholarship System: One needs to be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) or should hold a domicile of UP to avail this scholarship. The family income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Gujarat Scholarship Portal: IIIT Surat students can also avail scholarships through Gujarat Scholarship Portal after meeting all the requirements for eligibility.
Central Sector Interest Subsidy Scheme: Under the scheme, the students can avail full interest subsidy during the moratorium period, with having any third-party guarantee or a collateral. Students with their household income not exceeding Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum, may apply.
Note: There are other state scholarships as well that students can avail like Bihar Scholarship Schemes, Madhya Pradesh Scholarship Schemes, etc.

College Infrastructure
As we are currently in SVNIT campus so we get all the facilities available in SVNIT, It has Well built Library, new Classroom complex where all classes are conducted and well equipped Computer and Electronics Lab, Sports Facilities are also good Students also Participate in inter IIIT sports competition. Also the hostel Facilities are provided by the SVNIT and Mess food is good comparable to other colleges .

IIIT Surat is currently operating from the temporary premises of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT),Surat.The students of IIIT Surat enjoy the same campus facilities as that of SVNIT and is much better than that of most IIITs.It consists of indoor badminton courts,Gymnasium,basketball and tennis courts and a huge playing field that is mostly ill-maintained.Besides this it has a huge fully air conditioned library.Hostels also do have very fast Wifi.

If we have a look at the cut-offs for Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat for 2021, then the ranks at which the branches close are as follows:
Computer Science and Engineering: 21,541
Electronics and Communication Engineering: 27,087
According to this it might be difficult for you to get admission in IIIT Surat, however you may get these in the Special or CSAB rounds.

It is a relatively new college, hence there are low placements.
Newly, apprenticeships were furnished by the university. Internships from top firms like Google and Adobe happened and the biggest income package was around INR 30 LPA and the normal package was INR 6-7 LPA.
The university is operating under SVNIT. The hostel is similar to SVNIT. Infrastructure and food are present.
The lesson curriculum is evolved. The faculty is new but is good, helpful, and positive.
Overall, if you ask me it will be a better choice than NIT Surat.
