About IIPH Gandhinagar

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) founded the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) in 2015. A private university called IIPH Gandhinagar is located near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. An agreement to create IIPHG was struck between the Public Health Foundation of India and the Gujarati government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi put the first brick in the building in 2008. In 2008, the IIPH Gandhinagar opened its doors after initially operating out of Ahmedabad. IIPM Gandhinagar placements are given to students who successfully complete their academic programmes. The permanent campus in Gandhinagar was opened and given university status in 2015. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has acknowledged IIPH Gandhinagar. The 50-acre IIPHG campus is spread out over a wide amount of land. IIPH Gandhinagar courses are M.P.H, M.H.A, P.G.D which are offered at the postgraduate level. IIPH Gandhinagar admission is given based on the entrance exam, interview and weightage given to the scores acquired in the qualifying examination.

The Indian Institute of Public Health in Gandhinagar offers postgraduate studies in management and business administration, as well as in medicine and allied disciplines. IIPH Gandhinagar scholarships and fellowships are given to the eligible students. There are 189 students enrolled in total at the IIPHG campus, and there are 22 faculty members overall.

IIPH Gandhinagar Scholarship

Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar offers a limited number of scholarships to deserving and meritorious students, subject to the availability of funds. The IIPH Gandhinagar scholarship aims to encourage students to pursue, progress, and pursue a career in public health. The IIPH Gandhinagar scholarship is available for all self-sponsored students enrolled for the postgraduate programmes across IIPHs. The IIPH Gandhinagar scholarships are P & G Health Scholarship, Emmes Scholarship Fund and Dr P. G. Tulpule Scholarship Fund.

To avail IIPHG scholarships, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the scholarship application form and submit all necessary enclosures at IIPHG. These IIPH Gandhinagar scholarships are offered to Indian nationals. The application for the IIPHG scholarship will be reviewed by a select scholarship committee. The decision to call a candidate for an interview or to select a candidate for the scholarship is final, and no objection is considered. IIPH Gandhinagar Scholarships and Eligibility Criteria

P & G Health Scholarship	This scholarship is for self-sponsored students enrolled on the M.P.H programme across IIPHs. This scholarship is given to students who have a good academic record, demonstrated financial need, and a strong desire to pursue a career in public health. This will be determined by: Previous academic background and demonstrated need to be expressed by the respective candidates in a ‘Statement of Purpose’. Preference is given to students belonging to socially and economically deprived communities, including SC, ST, OBC and PH/VHC/HI can avail this scholarship. The 'P & G Health Scholarship' will provide 'full, half, or part' scholarships based on the applicant's demonstrated need.
Emmes Scholarship Fund	This scholarship (full/ half/ part) fund is available to students enrolling for Master of Public Health (M.P.H) programmes at IIPHs. Candidates with a strong interest in Public Health will be awarded the scholarship. This will be determined by: Previous work experience in public health or previous education or research projects focusing on public health. Preference will be given to meritorious students, Socially and economically weaker sections, candidates having relevant work experience in public health in backward and rural districts in India and women candidates.
Dr P. G. Tulpule Scholarship Fund	This full/part scholarship fund will be available to students enrolling for PGDPHM courses at PHFI. This scholarship is awarded to candidates who have a specific interest in Public Health Nutrition. This will be determined by: previous work experience in public health nutrition or previous education or research projects focusing on public health nutrition or specific focus on public health nutrition in the proposed course of study at IIPHs. Preference is given to Women candidates and candidates with NGO work experience, or who will work in backward and rural districts in India pot PGDPHM course.
