The University offers one year Master of Legislative Law course in three specialisations :

  • Constitutional Law
  • Commercial Laws
  • Personal and Family Laws 
  • Intellectual Property Laws

The course is designed in accordance with the University Grant Commission 2012 guidelines. A Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies has been established by MNLU Mumbai which includes a team of dedicated teachers to guide students. The pedagogy of the course involves a combination of regular classes and concurrent research.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and Forty-Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May are also eligible to apply.
  • No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT.

Admission Details

The admission shall exclusively be based on the performance of the candidate in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
