Mangalore University

A public state institution, Mangalore University, was founded in 1980. It has received a "A" rating from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University Grants Commission has given the university its approval. The university contains 26 postgraduate departments and a campus that covers 353 acres. 204 colleges are currently connected to Mangalore University. According to the university's official website, its goal is to foster critical thinking in students so they can be imaginative and creative. It provides a total of 47 undergraduate and graduate courses. 

For Mangalore University admission to the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) programs, applicants must take the Karnataka PGCET. All postgraduate programs at Mangalore University offer merit-based admission, with the exception of the MU courses M.B.A. and M.C.A. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is a prerequisite for admission to postgraduate programs. The institution maintains a MU placement cell that helps students find jobs during their final year of school and awards grants to qualified candidates. Additionally, it exposes students to other countries and also offers  them Mangalore University scholarships to proceed further. The university has partnerships with several institutions and universities at the national and international levels for this. Students have access to academic and cultural infrastructural facilities on the campus.
