Focus
Thorough understanding of basic knowledge in biotechnology, through lectures and hands-on training, culminating in a research project work. Courses covered include different areas of biotechnology including genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, biophysics, and business studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian Boards - Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject as an optional subject, from a recognized Board with minimum 55 % aggregate marks or equivalent, taken together in Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject
A level -
- Biology, Chemistry and Biotechnology / Mathematics / Physics / any other Life Science subject in the ‘A’ Levels plus English in the ‘AS’ Level / IGCSE / GCSE
- The minimum requirement is an average of a ‘C’ grade but not less than a ‘D’ grade in Chemistry, Biology, and optional subjects.
IB -
- Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics or any other Life Science subject
- IB Diploma or IB Certificate with a minimum average of 4 points for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics or any other Life Science subject with an overall minimum of 24 points
