NIFT exam is conducted to check a candidate's imaginative and creative skills. The most basic thing to do to prepare for the exam is:

Study your course thoroughly.

Prepare from every book you can from.

Clear your concepts properly.

Make sure that you know every topic of the syllabus.

25% of the overall student strength of all the NIFT Centres as a collective.

Yes, you are right. NIFT provides financial support on merit by providing some documents like Income certificate and all.

On the Income Certificate basis your fees will be decided.

There is nothing like Scholarship but a financial Support provided on the basis of the income certificate provided from your side.

Every year, NIFT Development Fund provides for subsidized tuition fee under the NIFT Means-Cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scheme  However, the ceiling of subsidy is variable.
