Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Loni was established under Section 3 of University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956 on 29 September, 2003 by the Government of India. The parent organization of the institute of Pravara Medical Trust. The institute spreads over 120 acres of land. Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). PIMS has undergraduate programmes (MBBS, B.Sc., B.D.S., B.P.T.), postgraduate programmes (M.Sc., M.D., M.D.S, M.P.T., MPH) and doctoral programmes for the students.

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences offers undergraduate courses (MBBS, B.Sc., B.D.S., B.P.T.), postgraduate courses (M.Sc., M.D., M.D.S, M.P.T., MPH) and doctoral courses to the students. For B.P.T:
Students should pass 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Students should qualify All Indian Combined Entrance Test (AICET) with at least 50% marks.
Admission will be offered on the basis of student's academic record, merit in entrance examination, seat allocation, document verification and fee payment.
For B.Sc Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology Program:
Aspirants should pass 10+2 examination with PCM and English from the recognised education board.
Aspirants can fill an application form on PIMS website.
Final admission will be given on the basis of the academic record of aspirants, seat allotment, documentation and fee payment but preference will be given to the students who have a graduate degree in Science/Technology.
For P.B.B.Sc. Nursing:
Candidates should pass 10+2 examination from Arts, Science or Commerce stream.
Candidates should have a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) degree from a recognised university.
Candidates should register themselves as R.N. and R.M. with the States Nurses Registration Council.
Candidates should appear for the entrance test viz R.G.N.M.

For MDS:
