Eligibility Criteria

Merit Cum Means Scholarship (for Minority Communities)

Rs. 20,000 per annum

Students with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the final examination have a family annual income of at most Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students

Rs. 31,000 per annum

The applicant in the ST category must have secured at least 55% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination.

Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child 

Rs. 36,200 per annum 

Girl students are admitted into the first year of a PG course.

Age limit - 30 years.

State – CS Post Matric Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC, Govt. of West Bengal

Rs. 330 to Rs. 1200 per month

The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal and belong to the SC/ST/OBC category.

The annual income must be at most Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 Lakh per annum for OBC students.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (SVMCM) Minority Affairs

Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2500 per month

• The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.

• The applicant must have secured at least 75% marks in aggregate in the last examination of the board, council or university.

• 
  

• The applicant must be pursuing a regular course of study in a recognised institution.

• 
  

• The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.

Kanyashree (K3) Prakalpa

The one-time grant of Rs. 25,000 is for only unmarried girls. The

Scholarship for female candidates pursuing postgraduate studies and having an annual family income of less than Rs. 1.2 lakhs.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship Scheme

Rs. 1800 per month for girls

Rs. 1500 per month for boys

The applicant must have secured at least 65% marks (for boys) and 60% (for girls) or equivalent grades in the previous examinations.

The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

Priyamvada Birla Scholarship

Rs. 24,000 per annum

Candidates passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with at least 60% marks in aggregate and have an annual family income of less than Rs. 75,000.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship

Rs. 1000 per month for UG and PG courses

Rs. 2000 per month for Ph.D courses

In any recognised institution, the applicant must pursue a regular course in Sanskrit or related languages (Pali/Prakrit).

The applicant must have secured 60% marks or equivalent grades in Sanskrit or related languages and aggregate in the previous final examination. 

The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
