Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur is a state private university established in the year 2009. SGU Kolhapur is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Maharashtra, it is accredited a grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SGU Kolhapur offers courses in various domains such as Technology, Commerce and Management, Computer Science and Applications, Science, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Liberal Arts. 

The SGU Kolhapur programmes are offered at different levels such as diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral.
