Hostel and dining facilities are clean, comfortable, and ensure a homely atmosphere for students

Placements
That was the time of Covid so no placement assistance received.
At present the situation has been improved but during my semester things were different with unstructured and unmanaged placements. There is a lack of diversity in job roles, and more effort is needed in building strong industry connections and providing effective placement training.

The course was value for money.

Academics
The teachers are qualified but not very supportive. Some subjects are taught well but others fell rushed. The doubt solving session is very average and not help really good. Notes are provided but not on time.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is excellent and big with mordern classrooms. The computer labs are have high tech computer with updated features. The college campus is spacious and well maintained with all the needed facility.
Placements
Placement is good and many good companies visit for placement every year and big companies visit to but in limited number. The college supportive students during placement.
The average pacakage is decent and some company give really good pacakge.

B.Tech Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
SGU has some of the best faculty members in Kolhapur. But few are not so good and are not at all cooperative. Curriculum is updated according to the industry needs. It is easy to pass exams as the passing percentage is very less.
College Infra
Campus is too good, one of the best in Maharashtra. Very good environment with daily maintenance of lawns and plants. Campus is very well maintained due to cleanliness and sanitisation. Hostels are nice but might feel congested to some as 4 people are given a single room. Overall facilities are OK!
Placements
Only 30 to 40% of the students get placed. Average package is around 3 lpa. Almost 60% of the students get internships in companies like TCS,wipro,cipla,etc. Most of the students get placed in Kolhapur itself.
