Shiv Nadar University, Chennai provides various types of scholarships to meritorious and needy students from all backgrounds. SNU Chennai scholarships are awarded to students to provide financial assistance to them. SNU Chennai Scholarships are awarded to students who fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.

Some of the Shiv Nadar University, Chennai scholarships are Merit Scholarship, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, Sports Scholarship and Walk-In-Walk-Out Scholarship. Eligible students can apply for SNU Chennai scholarships on the official website of the university. SNU Chennai Scholarships- Benefits/Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship	Eligibility Criteria
Merit Scholarships	For the First-Year students, the scholarship will be awarded based on the marks scored by them in the Shiv Nadar University Chennai Entrance examinations (SNUCEE). For the senior students, the scholarship will be based on the marks secured by them during the preceding year’s examinations.
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships	For first-generation learners, the scholarship awardee will be eligible for a waiver of 75% of Tuition fees if he/she has no backlogs. For non-first-generation learners, the scholarship awardee will be eligible for a waiver of 50% of Tuition fees if he/she has no backlogs.
Walk-In-Walk-Out Scholarships	Top 10 rank holders of board examination at 10+2 level. Students should have no backlogs.
Sports Scholarships	Students should have participated in National and International sports competitions conducted by accredited Sports Boards. Students should have outstanding records in sports.
