With the integration of SSN and Shiv Nadar University Chennai the labs, facilities and equipment increased by twofold giving more access and opportunities for Students to integrate into workflow more easily. The labs have working PC's with integrated wifi and servers with Air Conditioned Rooms every lab is given their own Lab Assistant and is used regularly and well maintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic though they could improve the quality of it.

I am studying in my 2nd Year of B.Tech in the course of AI&DS and I can say that every faculty working here is highly accomplished in their studies with each of them publishing their own research papers and some with the same experience in the field as my age. The curriculum is up to date in many areas and it will help in easier transition from study to work.

The placement offers available include many companies from both On and Off campus like Amazon, Google, Redbull, Qualcomm, Accenture and so on the quality of placements is very high as our examinations are quite hard allowing the students only above 8 CGPA to get more opportunities than others, we also have very high placement rates with some courses reaching as high as 90% while the others move into higher studies. The highest package was around 1 Crore and almost 20 people have been offered more than 20 LPA while the average package came around to 11-12 LPA. The University is very supportive by training us earlier on for pre- placements and offering their advice on where to move based on your interest.

The cost per an year will come around to 6 - 6.25 lakh including fees and other expenditure. Yes, comparing to other colleges and Universities I am getting the most of my money's worth.

The Campus Life is beautiful with many diverse people in here there are also many clubs which will help you even more to connect with one another.

The college has good infrastructure overall, especially when it comes to academic facilities. The classrooms are completely new, clean, and well-maintained, with full air conditioning, making them comfortable for long hours of classes. The academic buildings have a modern feel and provide a good learning environment for students. The classrooms are well-equipped for regular academic activities, and the overall campus infrastructure is quite impressive. However, the hostel facilities vary significantly. GH5, which houses first-year students, and GH4 are quite disappointing in terms of the overall living experience. The condition and maintenance of these hostels could be much better, especially considering the amount of time students spend living there. Since hostels are an important part of college life, having clean, comfortable, and properly maintained living spaces should be a priority. On the other hand, GH6, GH8, and GH9 are really good and offer a noticeably better hostel experience. Their condition shows that the college can provide decent residential facilities. Therefore, bringing GH4 up to a similar standard through proper renovation would be a great improvement. Upgrading the rooms, improving maintenance, and ensuring better living conditions would make a significant difference for students staying there. Overall, the college has impressive academic infrastructure, particularly its modern, fully air-conditioned classrooms. However, the hostel facilities need more consistent attention. Renovating GH4 and improving the condition of GH5 would help create a more comfortable and satisfactory campus experience for students.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai. One of the main reasons I chose this course is that it focuses on a field that is becoming increasingly important in the technology industry. What I particularly appreciate about the university is that the curriculum is quite straightforward, well-structured, and focused on subjects that are directly relevant to my degree from the very beginning. Unlike many traditional programmes that spend a considerable amount of time on unrelated subjects such as Chemistry, our curriculum introduces us to core computing and technical subjects early in college. This allows us to build a strong foundation in the field we have chosen rather than spending too much time studying subjects that may not directly contribute to our career goals. Most of the subjects feel purposeful and contribute to developing the knowledge and skills required for cybersecurity. The quality of teaching is generally good, and the faculty help us understand the fundamental concepts needed to progress to more advanced topics. The curriculum covers important theoretical concepts alongside practical learning, which helps us understand how the knowledge can be applied in real-world situations. I believe the curriculum is reasonably updated and provides a good foundation, although cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field, so continuous updates are necessary to keep pace with new threats, technologies, and industry practices. More exposure to current tools, practical security scenarios, and industry-oriented projects would make it even better. Overall, I feel that the course helps prepare students for their careers by establishing the right technical foundation early on. However, becoming fully job-ready also depends on personal projects, internships, certifications, and consistent hands-on practice beyond the classroom.

As per the information shared by our professors, around 85–90% of students get placed, with an average salary package of approximately ₹12 LPA and a median package of around ₹14 LPA. The highest package reported is ₹1 crore per annum, although a more realistic figure for the highest package would be around ₹30 LPA in terms of direct salary, as the remaining portion of the reported package includes stocks. These figures suggest that placement opportunities are fairly good, and most students who actively participate in the placement process have a reasonable chance of securing a job. However, I believe the reported placement statistics should be viewed with some caution, as there may be differences in how placement data is calculated. For instance, we have noticed that students who do not apply to at least 40 job postings and remain unemployed may be categorised as students who were not actively trying to secure a placement. This could potentially influence the final placement percentage and make it difficult to assess the actual employment outcomes of the entire batch. The placement process can be competitive, and securing a suitable role depends on technical skills, interview preparation, and the opportunities available. The college provides placement-related support, but students must also put in consistent effort to improve their skills and apply for relevant positions. Overall, the placement scenario appears promising based on the figures shared by the professors. However, greater transparency in reporting salary packages, including the distinction between fixed salary and stock-based compensation, along with accurate employment statistics, would help students better understand the actual placement outcomes.

The campus is well maintained, with modern classrooms, useful labs, a solid library and quiet spaces to study. Facilities support everyday learning, though a few areas could still be improved further.

The fees are a significant investment, so the value depends on how much you use the courses, labs and other opportunities available. Scholarships, internships and eventual career outcomes also matter.

Campus life offers clubs, events, friendships and opportunities to explore interests beyond academics. It can be enjoyable and engaging, although managing activities alongside coursework takes effort.

The university is equipped all kinds of necessary infrastructures, facilities and equipments, ranging from smart classrooms to leisure places. There is wifi at most of the places in the campus with reasonably good speed. The class rooms have projectors, smart boards etc and is highly well-maintained. All the spaces are clean and hygienic.

I feel that this is one of the best colleges in Chennai to study the AI&DS course. With the updated curriculum, there aren't any unwanted subjects and things are highly aligned according to the course. Latest things in technology continuously change the way exams are conducted, things are taught etc

I don't know much details about the placements, but we've seen seniors getting good packages all the way upto 1Cr/annum and proper training for placements were given. A high percentage of students were placed.

The course costs 350000 for tuition fees along with ~100000 for hostel and ~40k for mess. It feels slightly costly but of course, I would personally say its a good option to pursue studies here as it is highly in accordance with latest developments.

It's a really vibrant campus and it feels to do a mistake to not spend time out in the campus in evening. From the sports complex to gyms to clock tower, campus is lively. Everyone here are really supportive. The college is distant from the main city but offers a peaceful life, It's really safe and can handle all the emergencies.

The infrastructure in SNUC is really good. The classrooms are spacious and well maintained, and the labs have good equipment for practical learning. The campus is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The library and sports facilities are also good, and there are enough facilities for students to learn and spend their time comfortably. The academics in SNUC are good overall, but the teaching quality depends on the faculty. The curriculum is good and helps us gain knowledge in our field, but more practical learning and better guidance from all faculty members would make the academic experience much better.

As I am currently in my 2nd year, I don't have much idea about the actual placement process and statistics yet. However, from what I know, the B.Tech AI and Data Science course seems to have good career opportunities. I hope the university provides good placement support, internships and industry exposure to help students prepare for their future careers. I look forward to seeing how the placement opportunities and career guidance will be in the coming years.

I feel that SNUC offers good value for money considering the infrastructure, facilities and learning environment provided. The campus is well maintained, and there are good facilities for academics and other activities. Although there is still room for improvement in some areas, overall, I feel the college provides a good experience for the fees we pay. With better teaching quality from all faculty members and more practical exposure, the value for money would be even better.

The placements at my college are decent, but the package and placement opportunities largely depend on each student's skills, knowledge, and performance. Students who focus on improving their technical skills and preparing well for interviews have better chances of securing good offers.

The course tuition fee costs around 3.8L, the fee is actually worth for this type of educational system and college

Colleg infrastructure I like. It very nice. Very warm feeling. Homely vibes. Very nice buildings with ac. AC very good in summer chennai heat. I do not like chennai heat. But college worth living in chennai heat.

Academics I am not very good. But college academics is very good. Professor also good in teaching but I am not understanding very much. Grades coming nicely only. If you have passion, I think academics good.

I do not know if I am getting placement. Because frankly, there are too many toppers in this college. But placement cell is nice and good big big companies come here. We also get placement training from 3rd year

The infrastructure is so good we have lot of flora and fauna and there are amazing peacocks and the place is nice. The clock tower is good and the gatherings are nice with people. They are interesting clubs going on and can participate according to the interests.

The circulum is good . It has very interesting and relevant courses according to interests. They have good opportunities for research and learning .the teachers are supportive and encourage on your interests.

The placements are good and most of the people are placed. They are companies coming but mostly placed with minimum package and they are less people with highest packages. There are opportunities for internships also.

Studying B.tech in this collage is great. It gives me many opportunities to explore. I think the curriculum is updated and includes the recent developments in the field. I think collage gave me many opportunities to explore to get ready for a job.

I think the placements has been carefully planned. According to that, many have been placed from our collage. Our collage is very supportive regarding placements. They help in every kind to let us decide and make the right decision at the right time

Collage fees are approx three and half lakh per year with additional hostel or transportation bus fees. I can say that the fees are bit high .

The students and teachers are very friendly. The staff also support everyone very well . The collage is not located in the city but some what at the end with greenery everywhere. It has many things like football ground , cricket ground ,research center,.....
