Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Under Gazette notification No. F. 4 (2) vide/2/2009 dated June 09, 2009, the Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner (SKRAU, Bikaner) has been renamed as Swami Keshwanand, in honour of Swami Keshwanand. Hindi language proficiency, in Swami Keshwanand's opinion, is essential for maintaining national unity and educating the populace about national identity. With the establishment of the "Hindi Forum" in 1920 in Punjab's Abohar, he launched the initiative to promote Hindi. Afterwards, this forum was renamed "Sahitya Sadan, Abohar." He established the "Deepak" press in Abohar in 1933, publishing Hindi-language content that was given away for free or for a very small fee.
