MA Sociology at Jammu University Offline Course

A Candidate to be eligible for admission to MA Sociology Must have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination in sociology shall be eligible for admission to MA Sociology provided that;

• A Candidate who has passed in the qualifying examination not with Sociology but with any of the following subject: namely Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, History, Psychology, Education, Social Work and Philosophy securing at least 55% of the aggregate marks provided that number of such candidates admitted to the course shall not exceed 20% of the total number of open merit seats.
• A Candidate who has passed BCom/BBA/BSc/BSc Agriculture/BSc Home Science/LLB (Profesional) examination securing 60% of the aggregate marks shall also be eligible provided that a number of such candidates admitted to the course shall not exceed 20% of the total number of open merit seats.
