MA Hindi is a 2-year postgraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is graduation in any discipline. The course essentially involves the study of literature, linguistics and philosophies of the Hindi language. Hindi, besides English, is the only other language of communication authorized for use in the Central Government’s correspondence of the country. This ensures plenty career opportunities in the government sector for successful postgraduates of the course. The 2- year program aims to familiarize students with intricate literature in the language and its diverse applications. With its popularity growing in the nation and worldwide, Hindi is the second most spoken language in the world. Hindi language has its roots in the classical Sanskrit language.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.A. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
