M.Tech Mechanical Engineering at William Carey University, Shillong Offline Course

M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is a postgraduate Mechanical Engineering course. It is a two years specialization program that deals with the study of Mechanics, Statics, Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Material Science, and structural analysis used in designing, development, construction, production, installation, operation and maintenance of tools, machines and various other mechanical equipment such as automobiles, trucks, airplanes, trains, space vehicles, lathes milling machines, grinders, large steam and gas turbines, components of thermal power stations, internal combustion engines, jet engines, air conditioning and heating machines, refrigerators, etc. In short, this degree course mainly focuses on the study of the application of the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices. M.Tech course is broad in nature covering all major areas of design, thermal and production engineering. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing an M.Tech degree is qualifying B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent examination.
