NALSAR’s LL.M. Programme is intensive and includes a combination of taught courses as well as sustained research work. As per the guidelines laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a student must complete three mandatory subjects, six optional subjects, and a dissertation as part of the one-year LL.M. programme.

Subject to the availability of teaching expertise and the university rules on the minimum number of enrollments required for transacting a course the University has offered courses which could lead to a specialisation in corporate and commercial laws; criminal law; family law; intellectual property; international trade and business law; legal pedagogy and research and public law and legal theory.

Eligibility Criteria

There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for PG Programme for the CLAT 2026
Candidates who have passed an LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of :
1. Fifty percent (50%) marks or its equivalent grade;
2. Forty-Five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/ April, 2026 are also eligible to apply. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
