66 MonthsBachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including a 1-year Rotatory internship, the course offered by Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
Eligibility Criteria
The basic requirement for eligibility to get admission to the BAMS program is qualifying for the 12th Standard with science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the test with 50% aggregate marks in subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.
Admission Details
The admissions to BAMS course shall be done on the basis of All India Rank and Percentile of Marks obtained in the NEET conducted by National Agency (NTA), Delhi Testing & Counseling will be done as per Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India Rules.
