Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan, Pratapgarh, is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and recognized by the NCTE. The institute imparts full-time courses in teacher education. It aims to admit students who genuinely deserve to be in the programs.

Merit-based admission procedures are followed by the institute according to the policies of the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and its affiliated university. For the B.Ed program, admissions are based on qualifying degree examination marks and results of the entrance examination conducted for the course. For the D.El.Ed program, candidates are admitted on the basis of merit, with a special emphasis on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance test.

Application Process

For B.Ed program:

• Candidates should be graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree or B.Tech with Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks.

• Candidates are required to appear in the entrance examination conducted for B.Ed admissions.

• The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in both the qualifying examination and the entrance test.

• Admission issues are done according to the institute's admission policy with respect to the selected candidates.

For the D.El.Ed program:

• Candidates should have completed Intermediate (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks.

• If selected by the institute or according to state government policy, the candidates may have to appear for an entrance test.

• A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test.

• The selected candidates will complete the admission procedure by producing the requisite documents and paying the prescribed admission fee.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed:
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program is a two-year full-time course with a total intake capacity of 100 students. Eligibility calls for graduation with B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., or choice of B.Tech with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission is made purely on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam and entrance exam according to procedures prescribed by both the government and university.

D.El.Ed:
The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) comes as a two-year full-time program with an intake of 100 students. Eligibility is that the candidate shall have completed Intermediate (10+2) with at least 50% marks. Admission shall be on merit based on marks in the qualifying examination or entrance test as per state government policy.

BA:
The institute also runs the Bachelor of Arts (BA). 

Common Application Procedure:

• Acquire the application forms from the admission office of the institute or other official sources.

• Fill up the application form, presenting accurate information regarding personal details and academic details.

• Attach the application form with all essential documents, such as mark sheets and certificates.

• Submit the application form affixed with the documents either by hand or by post before the due date.

• Payment of the specified application fee.

• Sit for ET/ any other selection process as notified.

• Check for a merit list published by the institute.

• If selected, complete the admission within the time prescribed, including document verification and fee payment.
