The Asian Academy of Film & Television offers infrastructure that is particularly suited for creative and media-related courses. The campus includes multiple film studios, shooting floors, editing labs, and a chroma studio, which provide students with hands-on practical exposure. Classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, and computer labs have the necessary software for design, editing, and animation work. The library contains a decent collection of books and media resources related to film, journalism, and fashion. However, the infrastructure has some limitations. Several students report that certain campus buildings are relatively small and can feel crowded. Maintenance is also inconsistent, with occasional issues related to air conditioning, cleanliness, and equipment functionality. Wi-Fi connectivity varies depending on the area, and hostel facilities are basic rather than premium. Sports and recreational facilities exist but are not a major focus. Overall, AAFT’s infrastructure is strong for practical learning in creative fields but average when compared to traditional universities with larger campuses and more comprehensive facilities.
The academics at AAFT are generally considered industry-oriented and practical-focused, especially for courses like film, animation, fashion, and media. The curriculum is designed to provide hands-on learning through projects, workshops, and real-world assignments, which helps students build skills relevant to the creative industry. Many students highlight that the courses are aligned with current industry demands and encourage creativity and portfolio development. The faculty is one of the stronger aspects academically. Teachers are usually qualified, experienced, and often come from industry backgrounds, making learning more practical and engaging. They are also described as supportive and approachable, guiding students in both academics and skill-building. In terms of exams, the difficulty level is moderate, and most students can pass with regular study. The focus is less on theory and more on practical performance and projects, which is beneficial for creative fields. However, academics can vary depending on the course. Some students feel that self-learning is important, as structured teaching may not always be consistent. Overall: Academics at AAFT are strong for practical exposure and creative skills but depend heavily on student effort and course choice.
Placements at AAFT are decent but highly dependent on your skills and course. According to recent data, the placement rate is around 90–93%, with the highest package going up to ₹16 LPA and the average salary ranging between ₹3.6–4 LPA. The college has a dedicated placement cell that organizes workshops, internships, and campus drives, helping students connect with companies in media, fashion, and entertainment industries. Recruiters include companies like media houses, production studios, and brands such as Hindustan Times, Zee, and fashion labels. However, the reality is slightly mixed. In creative fields like film, acting, and animation, placements are not guaranteed in high-paying roles. Many students start with internships, freelancing, or small projects. Success depends heavily on your portfolio, networking, and practical skills, not just the college. Overall, AAFT offers good placement support and exposure, but it is not like traditional engineering or MBA colleges with fixed job outcomes. ???? Final verdict: ✔️ Good opportunities & industry exposure ❌ Salary & job quality depend on your talent and effort
AAFT’s value for money is mixed and depends heavily on your goals and course. The fees for most degree programs range roughly from ₹1–1.5 lakh per year, with additional hostel costs around ₹90,000 for 6 months, making the overall expense quite high compared to many private colleges. On the positive side, the institute offers practical exposure, studios, equipment, and industry-oriented learning, which can justify the cost for students serious about creative fields like filmmaking, animation, or fashion. If you actively use the facilities, build a strong portfolio, and network well, the investment can be worthwhile. However, many student opinions suggest that returns are not guaranteed. Placements are average, and success depends more on your skills than the college itself. Some students feel that the same skills could be learned through cheaper courses, internships, or self-learning, making the fees seem high for what is delivered. Overall: ✔️ Worth it for: highly motivated creative students ❌ Not worth it for: those expecting guaranteed jobs or strong academic ROI ???? Final verdict: **Moderate value for money — depends more on you than the college.**
Campus life at AAFT is generally described as creative, active, and industry-oriented. The environment is quite different from traditional colleges because it focuses more on practical work, projects, and artistic expression. Students regularly participate in activities like filmmaking, fashion shows, music events, and workshops, which keeps campus life engaging and skill-based. The college also organizes events such as film festivals, sports meets, and cultural programs, allowing students to showcase their talents and interact with industry professionals. Facilities like an amphitheatre, studios, and auditoriums contribute to a lively and creative atmosphere. Social life is decent, with students from different creative backgrounds, making it easy to network and collaborate. Many students appreciate the friendly environment and opportunities to build connections, which are important in media careers. However, campus life is not very “luxurious” or large-scale. Some students feel the campus is small and less vibrant compared to big universities, and traditional college fun (like big fests or sports culture) is limited. Overall: Campus life at AAFT is great for creativity and networking, but average if you expect a big, happening college campus.
The Asian Academy of Film & Television is best for creative students seeking practical exposure. It offers opportunities, but success depends on skills, effort, and networking. With average placements and ROI, it suits self-motivated learners who actively build portfolios and make the most of available industry exposure.
The college infrastructure is well - developed and maintained. Classrooms are spacious , equipped with smart boards , and have proper ventilation . Laboratories are modern with updated equipment for practical learning.
I am currently studying my chosen course because of my interest in the subject and its career scope. The quality of teaching is quite good, with experienced and supportive facilty members . The curriculum is regularly updated
The placement opportunities at the college are decent , with a fair number of companies visiting every year. A good percentage of students get placed , especially those who are skilled and prepared . .
The course fee is reasonable compared to the facilities and opportunities provided by the college. Considering the quality of education , infrastructure, and placement support , i feel that the college offers good value for money
Campus life is enjoyable and vibrant , with a mox of academic and extracurricular activities. The college organizes cultural events , technical fests and support competitions regularly. Students can join their interests

Yes, AAFT is one of the few film colleges which has every needed equipment one need to have and access while studying film. Infrastructure is very nice with proper air conditioned classes and as well as professional studios.
I’m studying cinema here, to be specific cinematography and the hands on practice with proper lighting practice and camera operation is really helpful. And yes, the curriculum we are following is so much up to date and follows the new age technologies to teach us with open conversations with faculties.
Placements history has been good enough in the last few years and yes, it seems that we too, will get placements. We are already working on professional projects with the guidance and help of our faculties and that’s one of the best experiences one can have.
Yes, it’s one of the most affordable film schools in India and according to the equipment’s, facilities and the knowledge with exposure to the industry we are getting, it’s a lot less than anywhere else.
Campus life for students is very active. Fests, sports, events and even filmmaking with seniors and faculties. Students and teachers has a professional bonding along with full time support from teachers. One of the very few colleges where your teachers won’t demotivate you at all.
My experience here is so good and I would refer everyone who’s interested in filmmaking, should join this college as soon as possible and get to work!
Hi, I am J Arun Kumar studing in AAFT, The college infrastructure is so good. And a fantastic campus with modern infrastructure! The smart classrooms, fully equipped labs, and massive library make studying here a great experience. The campus is well-maintained and they teach us with good equipment and we can also take the equipment and learn the things
Academically, AAFT offers a lot of resources, but making the most of it requires a lot of self-discipline. The absolute best part of the curriculum is the practical exposure—you get to work on real production floors and attend valuable workshops. Most of the teachers are very knowledgeable and approachable with regular classes occasionally getting interrupted by college fests or promotional events.
AAFT offers good placement support, especially for media and design students. With average packages around 3.5 LPA and top offers reaching 12 LPA, the return on investment is solid. Top recruiters include major news channels, production houses, and corporate brands. However, placements are highly skill-dependent.
For anyone studying filmmaking, animation, or mass communication, AAFT offers incredible value for money. If you were to privately rent the kind of high-end cameras, sound stages, editing suites, and screening rooms the college provides, it would cost a fortune. The fees essentially grant you a multi-year all-access pass to a professional production playground right in the middle of Noida Film City.
It’s a highly collaborative environment where students from different departments—like animation, journalism, and cinema—frequently team up for personal projects and short films. You are always surrounded by peers carrying tripods, running lines in the amphitheater, or rushing to catch a celebrity guest lecture. It’s a highly collaborative environment
My collage has good infrastructure that helps student feel comfortable. Classrooms are clean, many rooms have projectors and smart boards which make lessons more interesting and easy to understand. The library is well maintained and has good collection of books. Hostels provide a confortable and safe place for students to live. Regular cleaning helps keep the environment hygienic. Wifi connection is stable and helps students to attend classes . Overall infrastructure makes a collage a pleasant place to study.
Academics in the collage are well structured and focus in both theoretical and practical learning. I’m studying cinema (filmmaking) in collage and teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, explain topics in a simple way making it easy for students to understand. Regular classes, assignment help students stay consistent with their studies.practical session and projects helps in building real world skills.
Placement opportunities in collage are decent and improving year by year. The placement cell is supportive and helps students prepare for interviews through training session and workshop. Many visit the campus and offer job in different field . Some students gets good salary package while other find average opportunities . Overall, the placement support is helpful.
It cost me around 2.5 lacks per year. Yes, i feel that i am getting my money’s worth from the collage. The collage provides good infrastructure, supportive teacher, and useful academic sources that help in learning and overall development. Facilities like library, wifi, and hostel make student life comfortable and convient. Although there is some scope for improvement, overall the collage offers a balanced experience that justifies the fees.
Campus life in the collage is enjoyable and lively. There are many activities, events and clubs where students can take part and explore their interest. Cultural fest, sports events and competitions make the environment fun and engaging. The campus is friendly and supportive. The collage is located in a convenient area with good connectivity to public transport like metro and e rickshaw. Nearby facilities are easily available. The area is generally good safe for students.
Aaft has a very good infrastructure with every facility which are required for shoot like camera lights mic and camera stabilizer and etc Here they have so many studio which students use to shoot their project They also have hygienic canteen
Here I am studying cinema to get into cinema industry and the professors here are very professional and responsive to every question They also have an updated syllabus for cinema according to current ai.
The college have their placement cell which brings various production house to college for placement and the placement cell makes sure every student gets a chance to get placement before their course ends
One thing which I wish could be added in the college is that they could have a park in their campus
The college infrastructure is good Well maintained classrooms Available necessary equipments when needed Wifi is available Library studios and all are properly maintained Which creates a good environment
Academics and good Teachers and all the faculty are supportive and helpful they explain topics clearly and are approachable when we have doubts to clear Exams and assignments are managed properly too
Placements are average but the college provides many many workshops and internships for learning students The college also shares job updates and helps with basic guidance But students need to focus more on their own skills
Good value for money considering the facilities, the equipments, the academics and the exposure it provides also celebrities arrive at the college to inspire and talk to the students often which helps students to gain good knowledge and experiences
Although its a little one but Amazing campus life with different activities, events and a friendly environment. However, if youre looking for the hostel in college which is off campus that would not be the best choice. Looking for pgs or flats are more preferable
The infrastructure at AAFT is definitely good towards media and art students. We have good access to shooting floor, sound studios and editing labs.they gave the decent range of camera for practice and all.
The best part about the academic here is the hands on approach its less than textbook theory and more about actually picking up a camera. The give the practical knowledge more than the theory. We work with the camera
Placements are a mixed of mixed bag to be completely honest. The college does bring in media house , news channel , production agency. Their are internships opportunity to work with small production houses
The fee structure is somewhat on the higher side which is expected for a specialised private media institute. Weather its value for Money the give tge higher education and hands on experience to us in this
The infrastructure is my college is well maintained & provides a comfortable environment for students, but the equipment should have been more. Classrooms are spacious, equipped with proper seating & ventillation
Academics are decent, but we need more practical exposure. The academic environment of my college is structured and supportive. The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, making it easier to understand concepts. The curriculum is well-designed and regularly updated, helping students gain both theoretical and practical knowledge. Regular assessments and assignments keep students engaged and consistent in their studies
Placements do come to the college, but many students are not selected due to skill gaps or not meeting company requirements. The placement cell provides basic support, but students need to work on their skills and preparation. Overall, placement opportunities are there, but outcomes depend a lot on individual effort.
The college offers average value for money. The fees are reasonable compared to the facilities and academics provided, but there is still scope for improvement in areas like placements and overall exposure. Students get basic resources, but the return on investment depends largely on individual effort
Campus life in my college is quite enjoyable and vibrant. There are various events, fests, and extracurricular activities that keep students engaged beyond academics. The environment is friendly, and students get good opportunities to interact, learn, and grow. Overall, the campus life is lively and adds great value to the college experience
