Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The strength of the B.Ed course at Bishop Agniswamy College of Education is approved at 100 students. The admission to the B.Ed course is on merit basis considering the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam. The selection process is as per the policy of the state government, UT administration, and the university. The course is for two years duration providing intensive training in educational theory and practice.
M.Ed (Master of Education):
The M.Ed programme has 50 seats for would-be teachers who wish to take advanced training. Similar to the B.Ed programme, admissions for M.Ed are based on merit considering qualifying exam marks and/or entrance exam marks. The selection process adheres to rules of the state government, university, or UT administration. This two-year postgraduate programme provides specialized and intensive training to would-be teachers.
