Known the reality of government colleges in India
Academics
I am studying bachelors in commerce here and the syllabus and curriculum is always updated. The teachers are very supportive and they also not only help in studies but if you have problem they will surely help you.
College Infra
This is a government college and so the facilities are provided but is not so well maintained. The facility in hostels are also very poor and we face problems for the food hygiene and cleanliness. The library does not have every books required for the students but they are up to some level.
Campus Life
Different curriculum or programs are performed by the different club members and student teachers also support. The location of the college is quite ok and campus is also safe for the students. If any emergency happens the higher fatalities takes the responsibility.
Placements
Since for the degrees like bachelors and commerce or arts there is no placements in the college and so the quality of placement is very low here. After graduation you need to do something else for Masters to get job.
Value For Money
The college fee for Bcom is around 10,000 rupees per year which is very less and affordable. But one thing is that you will get the degree at last and nothing else. Improvement is still needed in the college for every stream.
